Hopefully you all watched the exciting racing on the weekend in Chula Vista, some great racing and such a big start to the year for so many riders.
It was so good to be back out there and racing the big tracks! I never get sick of riding that track! Happy with the weekend’s outcome starting with 8th in the time trial even though the TT is never really being a strong point for me. I felt that I would have got a higher placing but everyone was riding fast and the times were extremely close.
I had some good laps in racing and with 7th in the main as I unclipped out the gate. That was disappointing but not to worry, I know how I was feeling and riding and happy with how things are coming along.

I’m in Holland now with Team Aust on a training camp at the Olympic Training Centre here. Doing our final prep before departing to Norway Tuesday for the 2nd round of the UCI Supercross World Cup series. Its going to be freezing cold and in a nice big indoor arena! Should be some awesome racing. Make sure you jump online and watch it live on www.bmxlive.tv or www.freecaster.tv!!
Anyway that’s all I got for you now! Keep checking here and on my official Lauren Reynolds Facebook page, or if you’re a tweeter follow me at @LR21BMX.
Thanks guys, LR #21

Don Meer’s from Q Growers Market knows a lot about fruit and vegetables, Craig Reid from Bermuda Butchers knows everything plus more when it comes to fresh meat. Lauren Reynolds is one of the fastest things on 2 wheels when it comes to a BMX track. What do these three have in common? A great desire to see Olympic Gold at this year’s Olympic games in London.
The Gold Coast small business owners have thrown their weight (and produce) behind Bunbury born BMX rider Lauren Reynolds, who trains and lives on the Gold Coast chasing her dreams to compete at the London Olympics.
It takes a lot to fuel a full time athlete and while doing it tough on an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship, Don and Craig decided that they would help Lauren out by providing great produce for her to “feed” the machine.
With Lauren currently ranked 3rd in the world, she is planning and working on her dream of making the team to compete for Gold in London. If she does so, no doubt it will be on the back of the awesome support she has received from Q Growers Market and Bermuda Butchers. Another outstanding example of Aussies banding together for a cause bigger than themselves!!!

Hello Everyone!
Just sending out another update of the past months Competitions I’ve been competing in over in Europe!
We had the world championships in Copenhagen, Denmark about 3 weeks ago. Trainings has been going really well and feeling better than I have in a long time, or ever have, so i went into the worlds feeling really good. Unfortunately that race didn’t bring the results. Had some trouble bringing my great training form onto the track come race day. I then went to Holland for 2 weeks with the Australian team to train at their Olympic training facility’s leading into the next race, which was held on the weekend just gone. The London Olympic test event on the Olympic track, 1 year out from the games. This time I brought my good form with me and had a really successful weekend. We did have some crazy weather at times, and the schedule of the event was delayed a lot, but London really turned on the weather when race time comes around. I finished with 2 podiums over the weekend, a 2nd in Time trial which has always been a weakness for me, and a 3rd in the racing on Saturday. Felt really good to get these results at such an event, with all the top riders competing in the, not one big name wasn’t out there and being one year out on the exact track gives me a lot of confidence to better that result this time next year.
Next race in the final round of the Supercross world cup series in Chula Vista, USA in 5 weeks times, again on the Americas Olympic training track!
Really looking forward to this race and to bring my overall World cup ranking to the top. Currently ranked 6th.
I also finished over the UCI year after worlds with an overall world ranking on number 5.
I also picked up a new sponsorship with Oakley eye wear in London, so just want to say a massive thank you to Steve Blick and Oakley Eyewear!
Again thanks to everyone who have helped and supported me and a big thanks to All my sponsors!
